Let's live every day

Just before Christmas my partner died. He was only sixty. He has an annurism and collapsed on the bathroom floor. He had planned to marry me this year. I didn't know that of course but he had talked to his friends and they told me afterwards. He hadn't done a will. He had talked a lot about not putting things off, that you don't know what the future hold. I don't think he had planned for that. Yesterday my best friends friend died. She was waiting for a bone marrow transplant. She was only thirty two. She ran out of time. Today I had an email from a friend. She had lost her job. She didn't like her job. She should have been looking for another months ago. She says she has no quality of life. I havn't any patience with that at the moment. Life is life. It is in our control. If you don't like it change it. Some things you can't change. You aren't in control of the moment you die, but while you are alive, for God's sake live! |
