Every day can be a special day

Saturday is a special day. Just before christmas my partner died. He was the love of my life, my soul mate, my hero. I had moved to France eighteen month before I met him, and he had been in France about the same length of time. We were both alone, and shocked to find how hard it is being alone in a foreign country. I had no intention of starting a new relationship, but he was the kindest, funniest, most talented man that had ever loved me. For two years we spent all our time together. We needed no other friends, and then suddenly, with no warning he was gone. I was lonely before I met him but this lonelyness now physically hurt. I was tired. So tired. One day I looked on a chat forum, just to see how others were coping. I was amazed. There were numerous posts from lonely singles. There were people out there in exactly the same position as myself. Something had to be done. Someone had to do something. I had to do something!! Saturday is a special day. It is the first meeting of a singles group I have organized. We have six men and six ladies coming for a meal here at the tea house I run in Pontivy. We are having a three course meal and changing places between each course. I found most of the men through the chat site I was originally looking at, and then looked them up on facebook to get a bit of information about them! Saturday is the first time I will serve a curry that I have made. I have just added the chillies. The recipe noted that you should not touch your eyes after chopping the chillies. I have discovered you should not touch any part of your skin!!! It is hard to get a hot curry in France, and I've been told that that is what the English men miss. My curry is HOT !!!! Saturday is a special day. Last January I baught a skirt that I could not get into, to encourage me to slim. I've done this before. It has never worked before. On Saturday I will ware the skirt for the first time! Saturday is a special day. I wish you could be here. Perhaps next time!
